Initiated in the year 2020, the Department of Geology is now the most powerful department of Ideal College.  Department strives to maintain its multidisciplinary approach various field of Sciences by applying the concepts of Geology to solve scientific problems faced by the society. The Department offers BSc Geology programme and hopes to establish ties with well-known organizations that enables a holistic understanding of the subject. The department aims to design and develop scientific tools to study and monitor the earth processes and geo-resources such as minerals, oil and water, while forwarding the results of these efforts to the benefits of the students and the community; and to prepare students for careers in different fields of Geology. A proposed rock park inside the campus is in the developmental stages along with the fully functional Geological lab.
