The Department of Arabic is one of the oldest courses established in Ideal College and offers BA in Arabic. The Department has a variety of approaches in crafting all areas of student development including their intellectual prowess and deepened linguistic and literary skills. The University curriculum, is time and again, reviewed by the department so as the learner is able to acquire knowledge and develop the skills of critical thinking, research methodology and necessary skills that enable them to excel academically and professionally. The aim of the department is to create specialists in the language and literature and to fill the need for schools and institutes of teachers in this field. Moreover, developing a student culture familiar with the language and Literature and writing to enrich the literary movement in the Arab world are highly prioritized. Academic journeys, Seminars, Language Translations and Literary engagements get a place in the department’s centralized evaluation system.
